These are websites any Buyer or Seller can utilize during the course of a Real Estate transaction.  All of these websites are saved in my favorites and I frequently visit them for Buyers and for Sellers.

Jackson County Property Data (pull lot size, home size, and ownership information.  You can also pull a tax history and if the property is located in the county, you can pull the permit history file.

Oregon Licensee Search  (is your Realtor licensed)

Oregon Water Resource Department Check to see if there was a well log filed when someone drilled a well.

Oregon Department of Environmental Quality  Check on septic permit type, size, and age.

Oregon Homes Listed as unfit because of meth lab and/or storage activities Homes that have been contaminated and uninhabitable.

Oregon Buyer and Seller Advisory   These advisories were created by the State of Oregon to help Buyers and Sellers understand the purchase process.

FEMA Map Search.  Check to see if a home is in a flood plain or way.

Oregon Foreclosure Laws.  This is a site I find useful when a foreclosure question comes up.

Oregon Real Estate Statues and Rules. The state ordinances are useful to know, but ultimately, it is advisable to check with the city or country regarding any potential building or additions a Buyer may require.

Oregon Department of Education.  This site is good for someone who is concerned about the school system

Oregon School Reports.  This site is useful for determining a school rating system.

Oregon Sex Offender Inquiry System.  Check to see if sex offender is living nearby.

Medford Chamber of Commerce  Chamber websites are very good in helping familiarize buyers with the area, services, weather, and businesses.

Jackson County House Sale Stats from 2006-2016.  10 year comparison.

We are getting back and surpassing values and sales from back in 2006.  Not surprising with interest rates being so much lower from when they were back then.  

See the 5 year gain increase is pretty amazing.  Obviously the biggest gain is in the areas that lost the largest values.
